The BCDA and Elk River Trails Foundation sponsored the development of the Elk River Trail Towns Plan to help the communities of Sutton, Gassaway, Clay and Clendenin take advantage of the economic development potential of the trail system. The report finds that the Elk River Trail Towns could reasonably anticipate $250 million in new sales activity over the next 15-years.
